Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of tutoring services by Enable Tutoring (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By booking, purchasing, or attending any session with Enable Tutoring, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Services
Enable Tutoring provides private tutoring and educational support services.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or discontinue services where we consider it reasonable to do so, including but not limited to cases involving inappropriate behaviour, non-payment, or safeguarding concerns.
2. Bookings and Payment
2.1 All sessions must be booked via our approved booking system or directly agreed in writing.
2.2 Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 A booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received.
2.4 We reserve the right to cancel any booking where payment is not received.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellation by Enable Tutoring
3.1.1 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions where reasonably necessary.
3.1.2 Where we cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, you will be offered either:

A full refund, or
-
A rescheduled session (subject to availability).
3.2 Cancellation by You
3.2.1 You may cancel or reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
3.2.2 Where cancellation is made with more than 24 hours’ notice:

A full refund will be issued, or
-
The session may be rescheduled (subject to availability).
3.2.3 Where cancellation is made with less than 24 hours’ notice:
-
The session will be charged in full.

Refunds will not normally be issued.
3.2.4 We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to make exceptions in cases of genuine emergency.
4. Late Attendance and Non-Attendance
4.1 If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
4.2 Failure to attend a booked session without notice will be treated as a late cancellation and charged in full.
5. Online Session Requirements
5.1 You are responsible for ensuring access to:

A stable internet connection

Suitable device and software
-
A safe and appropriate learning environment
5.2 Where technical issues occur on our side which prevent delivery of the session, we will offer a reschedule or refund.
5.3 We are not responsible for technical issues on the student’s side.
6. Student Conduct
6.1 Students must behave respectfully during sessions.
6.2 We reserve the right to terminate a session immediately in cases of:

Abusive behaviour

Inappropriate language or conduct

Safeguarding concerns
6.3 No refunds will be provided where sessions are terminated due to behaviour.
7. Educational Outcomes
7.1 Enable Tutoring provides educational support but does not guarantee:

Examination results
-
Grade outcomes
-
Academic progression
7.2 Responsibility for study, revision, and exam performance remains with the student.
8. Liability
8.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Enable Tutoring shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential losses
-
Loss of academic opportunity
-
Loss of income or earnings
8.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability which cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
9. Safeguarding (Where Applicable)
9.1 Where services are provided to students under 18, sessions may be conducted with appropriate safeguarding measures in place.
9.2 Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring a safe environment during online sessions.
10. Data Protection
10.1 We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

11. Changes to Terms
11.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
11.2 The latest version will always be available on our website.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
